Total hip joint replacement

There are many total hip joint replacements available on the market for a surgeon to use for their patients. Lyndon Bradley makes this decision based on careful research and staying up to date with published results to ensure that he uses the best implants available for his patients. It is important that patients report good results, that there is a history of excellent survivor-ship and the science behind the implants chosen is sound and proven.

Before a total hip joint replacement is performed, the patient will have xrays with additional “marker size”. The surgeon then uses these images in computer software that allows them to carefully plan the exact components required for each individual patient’s anatomy.

Lyndon encourages his patients to discuss which implant will be used. The following links are the most common implant he currently uses which have exception long term survival and functional results.
